From the homemade caramel praline cookies to the venison roast to the skin-on mashed potatoes, this Thanksgiving was so bountiful and awesome. My friends are all amazing people and literally brought something unique to the table this year.
As we’ve been settling into the new house, I’ve resumed baking and cooking on a regular basis. Look out for a lot more food-related schtuff, y’all.

there is a correlation…
Between becoming involved with me and a sudden interest in Bukowski. In the last year, 3 of these gents have (2 out of 3 on their own accords) picked up “Women”. As a not-incredibly-vocal-about-it Bukowski fan, the impulse to read this particular novel is fascinating. Currently poring over the back of the novel to find hints. What could make these men identify with Henry Chinaski?
Is this a sign I’m doing something right, or am I doing everything wrong?
